We want our films to be as varied and interesting as the humans at the heart of them. That’s why every event filmed by Waystone Films is turned into a bespoke and creative final product, reflecting the unique atmosphere of your day as well as all of the creativity and love that went into your event.

But don’t worry - when we say we’ll be creative, we don’t mean we’re going rogue! Every editing decision, from the music to the mood, is based on pre-event consultations and made with you in mind.

We spend HOURS making our films. Hours, days, weeks. A lot of love, a lot of care, a lot of vision, a lot of heart and soul goes into creating something that we hope you will treasure as a keepsake for the rest of your life. We care what you think of the final product, and we want it to be right for you.

We also know that it can be weird and/or scary to put yourself out there to be captured on film, even if it’s your wedding day and you look fly as hell!

That’s why we are on hand to look after you through this process. From asking the questions beforehand that mean everything runs smoothly on the day, to putting you at ease in your couple’s portraits, to being on hand to answer queries or concerns, we’ll be there every step of the way.

Events are so beautiful for bringing people together. Even at a wedding, the love isn’t just between the newlyweds; it flows out in every direction as friends, family and chosen family reunite and dance the night away!

We make sure to capture the hugs, the laughter, the joy, so that in the future you can return to and reconnect with those moments whenever you choose.

At Waystone Films, we believe that ceremony cuts to the beating heart of what makes us human. Whatever poetry or ritual is at the heart of your event, we want it on film, and we’re sure that you do too!

That is why we are delighted to offer not only creative edits of your event, but documentary footage of the key ceremonial moments - be it a wedding ceremony, a grand entrance or a heartfelt speech. Just let us know when booking what key moments need capturing and we’ll make sure to have an extra camera running to record them in full.

We also bring our commitment to ceremony into our own approach to our work. In a world where sharing video is as easy as whatsapp-ing a link, we choose to do it differently. When your films are ready, we will ask you to set an evening aside, gather your loved ones for a film night and relive the day for the first time together.
